Globalization has affected our world in countless ways. ICML XVII will address the challenges and opportunities of smaller languages such as minority languages in a globalized society.

This Regional dossier about the Occitan language in education in France was originally compiled by Michel Berthoumieux and Adalgard Willemsma. Pierre Escudé updated the dossier in 2018.

The Turkish dossier has been compiled by Konstantinos Tsitselikis and Giorgos Mavrommatis (KEMO). It is an updated version of the dossier from 2003.
