Mercator Network Newsletter on European minority languages

The Mercator European Research Centre on Multilingualism and Language Learning, part of the Fryske Akademy, publishes a monthly digital newsletter with the latest news on education and policy changes concerning minority languages in Europe. The newsletter is compiled in Leeuwarden, in cooperation with partner institutes from the Mercator Network. 

From the University of Barcelona (Spanje), the Centre Internacional Escarré per a les Minories Ètniques i les Nacions (CIEMEN) and the Centre de Recerca en Sociolingüística i Comunicació (CUSC-UB) participate in the Network. In Hungary, the HUN-REN Hungarian Research Centre for Linguistics is the contact point, in Sweden the Institute for Slavic and Baltic languages, Finnish, Dutch and German from the University of Stockholm. In the United Kingdom, Mercator Media is part of the University of Wales Trinity St David.
