Presentation Suzanne Dekker, EERA European Conference on Educational Research, Tampere University (FI)

At the ECER conference organised by the European Educational Research Association (EERA), Dr Suzanne Dekker, researcher at the Mercator European Research Centre on Multilingualism and Language Learning, will give a presentation.

This year's theme of the Finnish European Conference on Educational Research (ECER) is "Knowing and Acting: The changing conditions and potentials of education research". It is organised from 17-21 August by the European Educational Research Association (EERA) and the Tampere University.

Dekker obtained her PhD in 2024 with a thesis entitled ‘Multilingualism in Heads, Hearts and Hands: Attitudes towards the development, implementation, and evaluation of multilingual approaches in Frisian primary schools’. She has recently been working on the language survey 'Taal yn Fryslân: In nije koers' (‘Language in Friesland: A New Direction’).
