With no fewer than 59 research lectures, 1 discussion panel and 16 poster presentations, the Conference on Frisian Humanities once again had a full and exciting programme. Scientists from here, but also from Spain, Germany, Norway, Luxembourg and Belgium, affiliated with more than 35 universities and other research institutes, traveled to Leeuwarden from 12 to 14 November to participate in this conference with the theme Brêgen en Grinzen: Fryslân yn in mondiale kontekst (Bridges and Boundaries: Fryslân in a global context).
