Biografy

Femke van Seijen (Elahuizen, 1997) has studied European Languages and Cultures at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and Multilingualism and Language Acquisition at Utrecht University. As part of her master’s degree, in the form of an internship, she has investigated code switching patterns by Dutch-Frisian bilingual children at the Fryske Akademy.

At the moment, she is assisting several research projects at the Fryske Akademy, related to the use of Frisian and bilingualism within the province of Fryslân.
