• Notiz Hotel: run by hospitality students of NHL Stenden University and located just outside Leeuwarden’s historic city centre. It is a 28-minute walk from the Oranje Hotel, but a bus ride takes just 13 minutes.
• Alibi Hostel: located in Leeuwarden's historic city centre and is only a 10-minute walk from the Oranje Hotel. The hostel is housed in a former prison building and has rooms that used to be prison cells.
