The 2020 ECSPM Symposium is hosted, sponsored and co-organised by the Babylon Centre for the study of Superdiversity, School of Humanities and Digital Sciences, Tilburg University, in the Netherlands.

It is supported by the Mercator European Research Centre on Multilingualism & Language Learning, Taalunie (Union for the Dutch Language) and the Migrant Literacies Project.

On the second day of the symposium, Mercator's Jelske Dijkstra en Cor van der Meer will give a presentation about digital projects: 'SPEAKABOO, COMBI & The VirtualLanguage App: An innovative multi-didactic approach'

 

Programme

The annual symposium of the European Civil Society Platform for Multilingualism, hosted in a different European country each year by one of ECSPM’s institutions, is an opportunity for experts working in the area of multilingualism:  
– to examine related theoretical and practical issues
– to present and discuss research and projects being carried out
– to plan future collaborative work and projects, particularly among CURUM members.
