Expert in the Spotlight

One of the main tasks of Mercator European Research Center is to gather information about minority language education and policy in Europe. Such information is often not easily accessible. Therefore we strongly rely on our Network of Experts: academics and educational specialists all over Europe that are knowledgeable about the languages we are interested in.

To give an impression of who these experts are, of what drives them, of their expertise on minority languages, we ask, every few months, one of them to be our "Expert in the Spotlight": we conduct an interview with him or her, and share this interview on our website.
