The Mercator European Research Centre (Fryske Akademy) is hosting the GCMC project members from Germany, Italy, Austria and the United Kingdom for two days, from 13-14 April. Together, they will visit a multilingual school in Burgum and the historic city centre of Dokkum. At the NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences in Leeuwarden, they will give a presentation of their research results and offer a workshop to pupils of the secondary school Piter Jelles.

The Global Citizenship and Multilingual Competences (GCMC) toolkit is an international Erasmus+ project (2020-2023). The aim is to provide online teacher development resources for secondary teachers of all subjects about how to integrate global citizenship goals and multilingual pedagogies into their practices in a sustainable way.
