This Regional Dossier is the third and fully updated edition of the dossier 'The Basque language in education in France'. This Regional Dossier was updated in 2023 by Beñat Lascano, PhD. He is a teacher of Basque in secondary education in Iparralde and holds a doctorate in Basque studies. The first edition of this Regional Dossier was written by Mark Stuijt in 1998, and the second edition by Daniel Sanchez in 2007.
