POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19: Three day-symposium on multilingualism, supported by the Mercator European Research Centre

This project focuses on high-quality qualification and networking structures for professional development for junior researchers in the field of language education and plurilingualism.

Anyone can participate in the Online Study Phase of the Erasmus+project ENROPE. The focus of OSP#2 is 'Networking and Collaboration'.

Ireland was once regarded as one of the Western Isles of what is now known as Scotland. The sociogeographic links between the two are clear and are reflected in the language.

In the Slovene settlement area in Italy, in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia (Furlanija - Julijska krajina), the Slovene language is spoken in its standard and dialect varieties.

This Regional Dossier was edited by Norina Bogatec, SLORI - Slovenski raziskovalni inštitut (Slovene research institute). Maria Bidovec, Norina Bogatec, Matejka Grgič, Miran Košuta, Maja Mezgec, Tomaž Simčič and Pavel Slamič updated the previous dossier in 2004.

Italian is one of the four national languages in Switzerland, along with German, French and Romansh (since 1938). The Italian-speaking territories that form the Svizzera italiana show geographical contiguity with Italy. This Regional dossier about Italian in Swiss education was compiled in 2019 at the University of Teacher Education of Grisons, and was led by Prof. Dr. Vincenzo Todisco.
