This Regional Dossier is the third and fully updated edition of the dossier 'The Basque language in education in France'. This Regional Dossier was updated in 2023 by Beñat Lascano, PhD. He is a teacher of Basque in secondary education in Iparralde and holds a doctorate in Basque studies. The first edition of this Regional Dossier was written by Mark Stuijt in 1998, and the second edition by Daniel Sanchez in 2007.
This project focuses on new speakers of West Frisian in the province of Fryslân, in the north of the Netherlands. The project outputs include research-informed teaching materials for Afûk educators, a research report for the Province of Fryslân, and a research-informed language promotion campaign.
The LANGSCAPE & ENROPE Online Colloquium will be a space for presenting and discussing on-going research and teaching projects related to plurilingualism and education.
