Biography

Anna Fardau Schukking (Leeuwarden, 1993) began the bachelor European studies at the NHL University of Applied Sciences in Leeuwarden. Afterwards she wished to focus on multilingualism, language policy and education. To this end she first followed the pre-master Communication and Education, and then the master Multilingualism, both at the University of Groningen. During this master she interned for five months at the province of Fryslân and she researched how well known digital language tools for the Frisian language are, and how much need Frisian and non-Frisian speakers had of them. Since autumn 2017 she works at Mercator European Research Centre, Fryske Akademy.
