Minority Languages in the City
16 & 17 March 2023
The Mercator European Research Centre on Multilingualism and Language Learning (Fryske Akademy, Leeuwarden, NL), the Endangered Languages Archive (Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften, Berlin, DE), and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Social and Language Documentation (Minde, PT) cordially invite researchers, scholars, and members of community organisations to join the international conference on Minority Languages in the City.
The conference will take place on 16 & 17 March 2023. The conference will be held in person at the Oranje Hotel in Ljouwert/ Leeuwarden (Netherlands) in the historic heart of the city, right across from the central train station.

Important dates for presenters
16 December 2022: If you submit by this date, you will be notified by 6h January 2023 (use THIS ONLINE FORM for abstract submission).
6 January 2023: Notification about acceptance of abstracts (papers/ poster) - early submissions.
20 January 2023: If you submit by this date, you will be notified by 4 February 2023 (use THIS ONLINE FORM for abstract submission).
4 February 2023: Notification of acceptance of abstracts (presentations/ poster) - later submissions.
17 February 2023: If your abstract is accepted, please register before 17 February 2023.
28 February 2023: Last day to book a room at the Oranje Hotel Leeuwarden with a 15% discount.
6 March 2023: Last day to register to attend the conference.
